Algorand Foundation Launches Build-a-Bull Hackathon with AWS Collaboration
The Algorand Foundation, which focuses on developing the ecosystem for the world’s most advanced blockchain, has opened registration for Build-A-Bull. This global virtual hackathon offers $200,000 in prizes and is powered by Algorand Ventures in partnership with AWS.
Running from October 18 to November 15, 2023, Build-A-Bull aims to create user-friendly applications utilizing the scalability and power of the Algorand blockchain. The hackathon spans four weeks and provides developers and entrepreneurs with the opportunity to conceive a business concept, develop it, and present a final product to expert judges.
Participants will receive support, mentorship, and tools throughout the process. The winner of each of the five tracks will receive $25,000 and a chance to pitch to investors on a demo day. The grand prize winner will be determined through a public on-chain vote.
