Alpaca, a commission-free stock trading API provider, has announced a strategic partnership and a $15 million investment from Japanese financial services group SBI Holdings. As part of Alpaca’s series B funding round, which raised a total of $50 million, this investment will be used to enhance product development, customer support, and global expansion. The round was led by Tribe Capital and saw participation from existing investors such as Spark Capital, Portag3, Social Leverage, and Horizons Ventures.
