Animoca Brands Japan, in collaboration with Animoca’s KLKTN subsidiary, has revealed a strategic partnership with Cool Cats Group aimed at expanding into the Japanese anime market using web3 technology.
The announcement highlighted that Animoca Brands Japan has acquired equity shares in Cool Cats Group and that its KLKTN digital experience label has purchased NFTs of all three Cool Cats collections from the secondary market via San FranTokyo, KLKTN’s virtual decentralized city focused on licensed anime and web3 intellectual property.
