Arbitrum Targets $1 After Slight Gain
Arbitrum’s price is currently at $0.93, with a 0.6% gain in the last 24 hours. However, it has dropped by 5.9% in the past week and 20% in the past month. The token’s performance is similar to Ethereum, which also gained 0.4% in the last 24 hours. To prevent reaching an all-time low of $0.912, Arbitrum needs to reverse its downtrend and aim for an uptrend.

Arbitrum has experienced mild volatility in the past 24 hours, trading between $0.92 and $0.95. This lack of significant price swings can be attributed to decreasing trading volumes, which dropped by 8% to $102 million. Over the past month, Arbitrum has shown a steady downtrend after reaching a high of $1.19. The token is currently trading at monthly lows of $0.93.

Bears Threaten New All-Time Low
Arbitrum is currently trading near its June lows, indicating weak market confidence. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) of 29 suggests selling pressure, with the RSI line tipping south. The price has fallen below the 50-day and 100-day Simple Moving Averages (SMAs), and further dips may lead to testing support at $0.907, a new record low.
Repurchases Fail to Halt Downtrend
Despite Offchain Labs repurchasing ARB tokens, the price has failed to rally. In June, the platform repurchased tokens when the price hit record lows. The recent repurchase of 1.72M ARB tokens from Binance may help stabilize the downtrend and potentially push the price back to $1.
