Astar Network Announces NFT Campaign to Celebrate Mainnet Release
Astar Network, a Polkadot parachain, has revealed plans for an NFT campaign to mark the mainnet launch of Astar zkEVM, an Ethereum layer-2 chain powered by Polygon technology.

The upcoming NFT campaign by Astar Network is set to take place in Q1 2024 and will celebrate the release of the Astar zkEVM mainnet, which was developed using the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK).
Inspired by Astar Network’s Japanese heritage, the campaign will utilize Japanese capsule machines and mechanisms to award random prizes.

To participate in the campaign, users are encouraged to explore the projects available on Astar zkEVM. The platform offers on-chain and off-chain quests that users can complete to earn rewards, including exclusive NFTs created by Astar Network and other participating projects.
The experience is designed to immerse users in a story inspired by Japanese folktales and rewards will be presented through virtual capsule machines customized by the participating projects.
Users can mint, collect, and interact with Japanese-inspired characters as unique NFT rewards. These characters can also be upgraded by meeting set requirements and achieving milestones.
