Azuki Elementals: Record-Breaking Sellout Stuns Internet

The Azuki Elementals NFT collection generated a lot of excitement and anticipation, selling out in just 15 minutes and bringing in an impressive $38 million. The collection, which is the third iteration of the popular Azuki universe, features four different domains – Lightning, Earth, Water, and Fire. Despite there being 20,000 NFTs available, they never made it to the public sale market. The first 10,000 were airdropped to Azuki holders, while the remaining 10,000 were put up for presale. However, the entire collection was sold out within 15 minutes of minting, frustrating many individuals who were unable to secure a mint and disappointing others who were not satisfied with the NFTs themselves. There was also criticism that the anime art in the Elementals collection looked too similar to the original Azuki collection. The Azuki team acknowledged the negative feedback and expressed their commitment to improving communication and execution in future projects.
