Binance Introduces Zero-Fee Trading for FDUSD Pairs
Binance, the leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced a zero-fee trading initiative for six FDUSD spot and margin trading pairs. These pairs include Ethereum (ETH), XRP, BNB, Solana (SOL), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Chainlink (LINK). The initiative is set to go into effect on December 8, allowing users to enjoy zero maker and taker fees for the listed pairings.
Background on FDUSD Stablecoin Listing
The zero-fee trading was introduced to commemorate the listing of the FDUSD stablecoin on Binance. This stablecoin was added in response to the termination of BUSD support and as a result, BUSD pair trades are being delisted gradually.
Exclusions and Disqualifications
The six zero-fee trading pairs will be excluded from BNB fee discounts, fee rebates, or any other fee adjustments or promotions. Additionally, the trading volume of these pairs will not be considered for VIP tier volume calculation or included in any liquidity provider programs. Binance also stated that suspicious trades, including wash trades and those displaying market manipulation attributes or self-dealing, will be disqualified.
One-Hour Interest Fee Waiver
Binance has also introduced a one-hour interest fee waiver for selected cryptocurrencies borrowed with Binance Margin. This promotion is valid until 12:00 PM on December 18. Users who borrow eligible cryptocurrencies during this period will not be charged interest on the borrowed amount for one hour.
Hot Take: Binance Empowers Traders with Zero-Fee Trading
Binance’s zero-fee trading initiative for FDUSD pairs is a significant move that benefits traders by eliminating maker and taker fees. This move aims to attract more users to the platform and encourage trading activity. Additionally, the one-hour interest fee waiver for borrowed cryptocurrencies provides further incentives for traders to engage with Binance Margin. These initiatives demonstrate Binance’s commitment to providing a competitive and user-friendly trading experience for cryptocurrency enthusiasts.
