Binance Liquid Swap to Remove Liquidity Pools

Binance Liquid Swap has announced that it will be removing certain liquidity pools from its platform on January 5, 2024. The decision is aimed at improving the user trading experience by streamlining liquidity and minimizing slippage. As a result, liquidity pools for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Cardano (ADA), Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and XRP will be delisted.

List of Liquidity Pools to Be Removed

According to the announcement, the following Binance liquidity pools will be removed on January 5, 2024:

Users with positions in these pools will receive their deposited assets in their Spot wallets automatically. The removal of these liquidity pools will not affect the trading of corresponding pairs on Binance Spot.

Delisting of GBP Spot Trading Pairs

Binance has recently delisted several cryptocurrency trading pairs in GBP on its Spot platform. The delisting includes pairs for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Binance Coin (BNB), XRP, Cardano (ADA), Polygon (MATIC), Chainlink (LINK), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Litecoin (LTC). This delisting took effect on December 29, 2023.

This move comes after Binance stopped accepting new customers in the UK due to regulatory restrictions. Users trading via GBP had been facing issues with withdrawals and deposits after the exchange terminated its operating agreement with its banking partner in the UK. The delisting of spot trading pairs aims to address these challenges.
