Binance NFT Marketplace Announces Changes to Polygon Network Support
Binance NFT Marketplace is a digital platform where you can buy, sell, and trade non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The marketplace, operated by Binance, was launched on June 24, 2021, and offers a wide range of digital assets such as art, collectibles, and virtual goods. It supports multiple blockchain networks and provides various activities like auctions and fixed-price sales.
However, on September 8, 2023, Binance NFT Marketplace announced that it would no longer support the Polygon Network starting from September 26, 2023. Users are advised to withdraw their NFTs on the Polygon Network from the marketplace by December 31, 2023. After the specified date, users will be unable to engage in activities related to the Polygon Network on the platform. The staking program for The Sandbox NFTs will also be discontinued. The Binance team apologizes for any inconvenience caused and encourages users to reach out to their Customer Support team for any questions.
Hot Take:
Binance NFT Marketplace’s decision to discontinue support for the Polygon Network is part of their efforts to streamline their product offerings. While it may cause some inconvenience for users, it allows the platform to focus on other blockchain networks and activities. The marketplace continues to be a popular destination for NFT trading, with collaborations with artists and brands contributing to its diverse range of digital assets. As the NFT market continues to evolve, Binance NFT Marketplace remains a key player in providing a platform for users to explore and engage with this emerging digital asset class.
