Investor Dan Tapiero Says Bitcoin Bull Market in Third Inning, Predicts 200% BTC Rally – Here’s the Timeline
Macro investor and fund manager Dan Tapiero believes that the bull market cycle for Bitcoin (BTC) is still in its early stages. The CEO of investment firm 10T Holdings tells his followers on the social media platform X that Bitcoin could soar 3x from its current value in the next year or two.
“Conservative again on BTC price. A mere 3x over next 12-24 months. Bull market just in its third inning now.”
Tapiero suggests that Bitcoin’s upward momentum will continue for a while since there are nine innings in a baseball game. He also emphasizes that there may be price volatility but advises investors to “hold on for dear life” (HODL), encouraging them not to sell when prices dip.
“Third inning of this Bitcoin bull market…at least 12-24 months to go in this up-cycle. Ignore short term wiggles. It’s hodl season.”
Dan Tapiero’s Previous Statements
Last month, Tapiero stated that Bitcoin’s bull market was in the second inning. He expressed concern about potential problems if the market was further along, such as in the seventh or eighth inning. However, he believes that the bullish consensus at 75%-80% indicates a short-term correction rather than a significant downturn.
The investor previously predicted that Bitcoin could reach somewhere between $150,000 and $200,000 this year. While he acknowledges the possibility of short-term corrections, he does not foresee Bitcoin dropping down to the $20,000 level.
“If you’re saying do I think we’re going to go back down to the $20,000, $18,000 lows in Bitcoin, I don’t see it at all.”
Current Bitcoin Price
Bitcoin is currently trading at $63,665, experiencing a decrease of more than 4% in the last 24 hours.
Hot Take: Bitcoin Bull Market Still Going Strong
According to macro investor Dan Tapiero, the bull market for Bitcoin is far from over. He believes that Bitcoin’s current price is just the beginning and that it has the potential to triple in value over the next year or two. Tapiero compares the bull market to a baseball game, suggesting that Bitcoin is only in its third inning. While there may be price volatility along the way, Tapiero advises investors to hold on and not sell during dips. His previous predictions about Bitcoin’s future have been optimistic, and he sees no reason for Bitcoin to drop significantly in price. With Bitcoin currently trading at $63,665, it will be interesting to see if Tapiero’s projections come true.
