According to whale-tracking platform Whale Alert, the wealthy investor moved 7,000 BTC, equivalent to over $280 million, from one unknown wallet to another on January 25th. This is just one of several notable transactions made by the high-net-worth trader. Other transfers include 7,231 BTC worth $288.5 million, 3,505 BTC worth $138.7 million, and 511 BTC worth $20.4 million. The majority of these funds were sent to unknown wallets. In total, the whale moved over $1 billion worth of Bitcoin.

As of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $41,889, representing a 4.5% increase in the past 24 hours and an 8.3% rise from its seven-day low.
