Bitfinex Unveils Peer-to-Peer Exchange in Argentina, Colombia, and Venezuela

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex has announced the launch of a peer-to-peer (P2P) exchange for users in Argentina, Venezuela, and Colombia. The platform will allow customers to buy and sell various cryptocurrencies including bitcoin, ether, USDT, EURT, and Tether Gold. Bitfinex’s Chief Technology Officer, Paolo Ardoino, stated that the company aims to provide a reliable and efficient platform for P2P token trading, offering maximum convenience to customers based on their needs and preferences. This move comes in response to the closures of P2P exchanges LocalBitcoin and Paxful in recent months, potentially filling the gap left by their absence. The launch of this new service gives users in these countries an alternative platform for engaging with the cryptocurrency market.
