Driving the Youth’s Adoption of Web3
Two Tunisian universities, ESPRIT University and SUP’COM University, are collaborating with blockchain company Dar Blockchain and the Hashgraph Association to host concurrent hackathons. These three-day events, scheduled from January 26 to 28, aim to promote the adoption and understanding of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) among Tunisian and African communities.
The hackathons will provide a platform for participants to learn, collaborate, and contribute to the transformation of industries. The objective is to drive the adoption of Web3 by Tunisia’s youth, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed for decentralized finance (defi) and blockchain.
Empowering Future Generations
The hackathon participants will have the opportunity to explore how defi can revolutionize and make financial services widely available to Tunisian and African communities. They will also learn about decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).
Teams of 3 to 5 members are encouraged to submit their applications before January 20, 2024. It is mandatory for at least one team member to be a certified Hedera developer. Through the utilization of the Hedera Network and distributed ledger technology, the Hashgraph Association aims to empower future generations in building enhanced economies, technologies, and societies.
The collaboration between the Hashgraph Association and the two Tunisian universities signifies a promising partnership in driving innovation and education among the youth.
