CoinDesk Bitcoin Futures Contracts Introduced by ICE Futures Singapore
ICE Futures Singapore has partnered with CoinDesk Indices (CDI) to rebrand its bitcoin futures contracts. The new contracts will be known as CoinDesk Bitcoin Futures contracts (BMC). The press release states that the BMC will use the CoinDesk Bitcoin Price Index (XBX) for monthly contract settlement. XBX has been operational since 2014 and serves as a benchmark for approximately $17 billion of assets under management in investment vehicles.

Andy Baehr, the managing director at CoinDesk Indices, expressed excitement about expanding their presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region through this collaboration. He emphasized CDI’s commitment to serving global markets and providing top-notch solutions to marketplace participants.
