A regulated decentralized finance (DeFi) platform called Swarm has launched an onboarding application programming interface (API) that allows institutions and enterprises to offer regulatory-compliant tokenized securities and trading under German law. The API is intended for partners who do not have their own know-your-customer (KYC) provider, and it verifies users’ identities and source of funds. The platform will also soon provide a KYC Sharing API for partners who already have their own KYC provider. This move aligns with the typical onboarding process for stock brokerage accounts.

CoinList, a crypto launchpad and exchange, has introduced a unique family of staking funds that enable US accredited investors to earn rewards by staking digital assets. At launch, the funds will support staking of Ethereum (ETH) and Near (NEAR), with plans to add support for other digital assets in the future. Each digital asset will be pooled with similar assets and staked according to protocol requirements. Investors’ rewards will be issued in the native token they initially purchased fund interests in or according to protocol rules.
