American business magazine Forbes partners with Galxe to build web3 community
A blockchain startup called Galxe has been selected by Forbes to collaborate on its new venture called ForbesWeb3. Galxe has developed social tasks that aim to increase user engagement and showcase the practical applications of blockchain. Participants can earn points and climb the leaderboard, with rewards including complimentary Forbes subscriptions and brand merchandise. The launch of ForbesWeb3 does not mean Forbes is abandoning its coverage of digital assets and blockchain.
Collaboration rooted in a shared vision
ForbesWeb3 is focused on community building and offering value to the web3 space. Taha Ahmed, Forbes’ Chief Growth Officer, explains that the partnership with Galxe is based on a shared vision of pushing the boundaries of traditional loyalty programs.
GAL token surges after partnership announcement
Following the announcement, Galxe’s native token GAL experienced a 10% surge, reaching $1.63. This partnership comes after Galxe experienced a security breach caused by a DNS attack on its domain nameservers. The platform has committed to refund affected users with $396,000.
Hot Take: Forbes embraces blockchain and web3
Forbes’ collaboration with Galxe demonstrates its commitment to embracing blockchain technology and engaging with the web3 community. By launching ForbesWeb3 and incentivizing user participation, Forbes aims to explore new possibilities offered by blockchain while continuing its coverage of digital assets and blockchain news through ForbesCrypto.
