Ton and Ramp Partner to Turn Telegram into a Web3 Super App
The Ramp Network (RAMP) has joined forces with The Open Network (TON) in an effort to transform Telegram into a “Web3 super app.” The collaboration aims to create an on-ramp that allows Telegram users to explore the world of Web3 directly through the messaging app. Users will be able to easily purchase Toncoin (TON) and other cryptocurrencies using various payment methods.
Ramp Network’s on-ramp solutions support popular payment options such as credit and debit cards, bank transfers, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PIX, a widely used system in Brazil. The partnership will also benefit developers by integrating the on-ramp into their applications, giving them better access to Telegram’s 800 million daily active users.

Daniel Yang, Global Business Development Lead at TON Foundation, emphasized the importance of seamless onboarding and borderless payments to drive mass adoption of Web3 technology. The Open Network Foundation has been actively forming partnerships and achieving milestones since its establishment in Switzerland in September 2023. In November of the same year, TON became the world’s fastest blockchain.
