Terra Classic Community Votes on KYC Proposals
The Terra Classic community is currently voting on follow-up proposals for KYC proposal 12033. These proposals, numbered 12058 and 12059, aim to set additional requirements and provide clarification on KYC providers and contributions to the chain without KYC.
Proposal 12058: This proposal suggests adding Certik as a recognized KYC provider for L1 developers seeking community spending for major works on the Terra Classic chain. If a developer has not completed KYC previously, the cost will be added to their spend proposal. The details will only be disclosed in case of legal disputes.
During the initial voting, Proposal 12058 received over 65% votes in favor. However, there were also veto votes and some “No” and “Abstain” votes.
Proposal 12059: This proposal addresses concerns for developers working on small code or bug fixes, as well as validators who contribute voluntarily to Terra Classic developments.
The initial voting for Proposal 12059 resulted in a mix of votes, with 33% in favor, 33% “No,” 33% “No with veto,” and 1% “Abstain.”
LUNC and USTC Prices Experience Pullback
The price of LUNC has pulled back after last week’s gains. It is currently trading at $0.0001127 with decreased trading volume in the past 24 hours.
On the other hand, USTC price has also fallen by 5%, trading at $0.0256 with decreased trading volume as well.
