The DeFi Kingdoms X Account Hacked, Phishing Links Published
The DeFi Kingdoms X page has been hacked, leading to the publication of phishing links. On Jan. 9, the DFK Chain account announced that the play-to-earn game’s X account fell victim to a hacker attack. The exact method of compromise is unclear. However, it was confirmed that the security breach was related to an X security issue and not directly related to DFK Chain or its Discord.
The hackers posted fraudulent links on DeFi Kingdoms’ X account, attempting to deceive users into clicking on a domain that closely resembles the official game website. The extent of the attack is still unknown as DeFi Kingdoms has not yet regained access to its X account.
