They shared a video on social media showing Ripple’s CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, encouraging people to send between 1,000 and 5,000 XRP to an unknown address and receive double the amount in return. However, the video is a fake created by scammers aiming to steal assets from victims.
Many users who commented on the post appreciated the information and pledged to spread the word to keep others safe.
XRP Looking for a Breakout
Ripple’s native token has seen recent price increases, reaching a three-month high of nearly $0.73 last week. Some analysts predict a potential rally in the coming weeks. For example, Dark Defender suggested that XRP could rise to $0.87 by November 19, while EGRAG CRYPTO believes the coin could reach around $1.40 by the end of the year.
