Biggest News
Parallel dev’s Colony:
The team behind the popular Parallel NFT card game on Ethereum, Parallel Studios, has unveiled a new project called Colony. Colony is a generative AI-driven “survival simulation” game that will run on Solana. In this game, players will own AI “agents” that operate independently in a 3D world. The twist is that these agents may or may not respond to your commands. Parallel’s PRIME token on Ethereum has seen a 33% spike in value over the past week.
Prices rise and cool:
Last weekend, many gaming tokens experienced significant gains. However, most of them have since cooled down and corrected their prices. Ethereum gaming network Ronin saw its RON token reach a new all-time high price midweek after more than two years.
Airdrop mania continues:
Token airdrops are still a popular trend in the gaming world. BlockGames (BLOCK) has gained momentum with its upcoming token drop, while Upland has launched a “Share and Build” campaign for its Ethereum token launch. Nyan Heroes, an upcoming Solana hero shooter game, is also generating buzz for its airdrop campaign ahead of its Epic Games Store early access launch.
MapleStory on AVAX:
Nexon, a South Korean gaming giant, has announced that its MapleStory Universe games will be released on Avalanche instead of Ethereum scaler Polygon. This move brings the popular online game MapleStory into the crypto gaming world through a dedicated Avalanche subnet.
