26-Year-Old Crypto Thief Sentenced to 3 Years in Prison for SIM-Swap Attack

An attacker named Anthony Faulk has been sentenced to three years in prison for stealing $20 million worth of cryptocurrencies using the SIM-swap attack technique. Faulk, along with his associates Ahman Hared and Matthew Ditman, used the SIM-swap technique to gain control of victims’ phone numbers and then hacked into their emails, bank accounts, and crypto wallets.
