Deep-pocketed crypto traders are making significant moves with Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and other digital assets on major exchange platforms. According to data from whale-tracking platform Whale Alert, high-net-worth investors have transferred over $400 million worth of BTC and over $70 million worth of ETH.
Bitcoin and Ethereum Transactions
Whale Alert’s data highlights several notable transactions involving BTC and ETH. These include the transfer of 3,979 BTC worth $175,237,686 from an unknown wallet to Coinbase, as well as the movement of 2,244 BTC worth $97,937,208 from an unknown wallet to Coinbase. Another transaction involved the transfer of 1,040 BTC worth $45,608,237 from Coinbase to a new unknown wallet. Additionally, 1,999 BTC worth $87,662,421 were transferred from Kraken to Bitfinex.
Altcoin Movements
The data also reveals that crypto whales have been shifting non-ETH altcoins such as Solana (SOL), Polygon (MATIC), and XRP. Notable transactions include the transfer of 500,000 SOL worth $47,042,615 to Coinbase from an unknown wallet. In another transaction, 113,714 SOL worth $10,709,941 were moved from Coinbase to an unknown wallet. Furthermore, 48,131,458 MATIC worth $40,822,698 were transferred from one unknown wallet to another. Similarly, 33,471,499 MATIC worth $28,310,047 were moved between two unknown wallets. Lastly, 32,619,804 MATIC worth $27,542,219 were transferred from Polygon Staking to an unknown wallet.
