Square Enix Announces Auction Dates for Symbiogenesis NFTs
Square Enix, the game developer behind Final Fantasy, has revealed the auction dates for its upcoming Symbiogenesis non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The NFTs will be sold in three batches, with the first batch auctioned from November 27-28, the second from November 30-December 4, and the third from December 2-3. Symbiogenesis is a blockchain game by Square Enix that features Ethereum-based NFTs.
Phases of the Auction
According to the game’s documents, the first phase of the auction will only allow “stakeholders” to participate, implying that early investors will have exclusive access. The second and third phases will be available to participants in an “allowlist entry campaign.”
During the allowlist entry campaign, which ran from November 7-21, collectors took part in quizzes and a treasure hunt within a prototype version of the Symbiogenesis game world. Participants earned NFT “relics” and points towards participating in phase 2. The top 50 highest scores and 40 random participants ranked 51st to 300th will be eligible to acquire NFTs in phase 2.
