An Ethereum Developer Enables ChatGPT to Launch Its Own ERC-20 Token
An Ethereum developer has successfully integrated ChatGPT with OpenAI’s API to create and deploy its own ERC-20 token called AstroPepeX (APX). By feeding ChatGPT data on the top traded tokens on Uniswap, the developer was able to enable the large language model to design and issue the token. The estimated market cap of APX is $3.5 million, and there are currently over 2,300 APX holders who have conducted more than 17,700 transactions since the token’s minting on September 20.
Integrating Data from Top Traded Tokens for Better Results
Initially, ChatGPT’s attempts at generating names for the ERC-20 token were not ideal. To improve the output, the developer integrated data from the top traded Uniswap tokens into the model. This allowed GPT-4 to better understand crypto culture and offer more creative responses. To ensure that the token was solely created by ChatGPT without any human intervention, ownership of the private keys and contract was addressed in a way that eliminated human control.
AstroPepeX: Token Creation and Listing
The creation of AstroPepeX involved sending 65,000,000,000 APX tokens and 2 Ether (ETH) in liquidity to Uniswap’s decentralized exchange. The token was listed on Poloniex, with deposits and trading opening on September 21. AstroPepeX’s website provides links to its Ethereum address and social media accounts. However, it should be noted that the token does not have an official Telegram group.
