Disclosure to Release 1,000 Unique NFTs on Beatport’s Marketplace
Grammy-nominated electronic music duo Disclosure is set to release a collection of 1,000 unique NFTs featuring different versions of their track “Simply Won’t Do” on Beatport’s NFT marketplace. The track was originally released in July 2023 as part of their “Alchemy” album. The NFT collection, called Disclosure Bronze Editions, offers fans the opportunity to own a piece of the duo’s musical history.
According to Disclosure’s Guy Lawrence, the release of these unique variations of the track is a groundbreaking step in music production. It not only provides a product but also invites fans to own a part of their creative journey. The NFTs were developed using Bronze AI technology, an AI-powered generative music engine that can recreate existing music using AI.
Exclusive Ownership and Artwork
The Disclosure Bronze Edition NFTs will be priced at $20 each and will grant buyers exclusive ownership of the one-of-a-kind track. These tracks will never be reproduced or made available anywhere else. Additionally, buyers will receive unique artwork designed by German art collective Studio Grotesk.
Disclosure’s History with NFTs
This is not the first time that Disclosure has delved into the world of NFTs. In fact, they have been exploring and releasing NFTs for years. Guy Lawrence has expressed his belief in the potential of music NFTs as a way to engage with fans and collectors. He has also shown interest in crypto music streaming platforms like Audius.
