NFT Marketplace Magic Eden Expands Support for Polygon

Magic Eden, an NFT marketplace, has announced its commitment to bolstering support for Polygon with the introduction of new features. One of the key additions is an aggregation tool that allows for the consolidation of listings across various marketplaces. Additionally, Magic Eden has implemented royalty enforcement on its Polygon PoS marketplace and is making its Polygon API publicly available for projects to integrate marketplace features.

“We feel like we’re just scratching the surface for what’s possible on Polygon,” said Magic Eden co-founder and CEO Jack Lu. “We hope that by launching and opening up some of these new features, more collectors, creators, and game developers will join us and we can keep growing the Polygon ecosystem together.”

Magic Eden’s Expansion to Polygon

Originally launched as Solana’s digital asset marketplace, Magic Eden expanded its support to include the Layer 2 Ethereum scaling network, Polygon, in November 2022. The platform first added support for existing Polygon NFTs before introducing minting and trading support a month later to enhance its offering of web3 gaming assets.

Hot Take: Embracing Growth Opportunities on Polygon

Magic Eden’s decision to expand its support for Polygon demonstrates the platform’s commitment to embracing growth opportunities within the rapidly evolving blockchain ecosystem. By introducing new features and making its API publicly available, Magic Eden aims to attract more participants to join and contribute to the expanding Polygon community.
