EOS Network Foundation Files Lawsuit Against Block.one for $1 Billion Commitment Breach

The EOS Network Foundation (ENF) is suing Block.one (B1), the team behind the EOS.io blockchain, for not fulfilling its $1 billion investment commitment. The ENF is a not-for-profit organization responsible for the growth of the EOS Network. In May 2023, the CEO of ENF, Yves La Rose, proposed a legal claim against B1 if enough EOS holders desired to do so. The focus of the lawsuit is B1’s failure to invest in the EOS ecosystem. Yves La Rose also suggested a hard fork to disconnect EOS and B1, potentially increasing coin prices.
