Gemini, a crypto exchange, has started the withdrawal process for victims in the Voyager bankruptcy case. This is expected to provide some relief to those waiting for withdrawals to reopen. Voyager Digital, a well-known crypto broker, filed for bankruptcy in July 2022 and has been working to recover funds for creditors since then. In May 2023, Voyager’s bankruptcy plan was approved, allowing the firm to liquidate assets and distribute them to clients. Gemini is now facilitating the crypto withdrawal period, which will end on July 23, 2023. The exchange advises customers to only send supported tokens and assets to their platform. Meanwhile, Gemini is expanding its crypto services in Europe and recently became the first provider of a staking product in the UK. Gemini Staking Pro allows institutions and high-profile individuals to become Ethereum network validators by locking up at least 32 ETH. Although not regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, Gemini assures customers that their interests will be protected and any concerns will be resolved.
