Around 34% of the total expenditure on data center CPUs can be attributed to AMD, which still falls short of Intel’s dominance with its Xeon chip lineup. AMD remains committed to reshaping this balance with the introduction of its next generation of CPUs, known as EPYC 5th Gen, unveiled on the same day as the MI325X announcement.
