Skybridge Capital Founder Predicts Bitcoin Rally to $170,000
Anthony Scaramucci, the founder of Skybridge Capital, believes that Bitcoin (BTC) could experience a substantial rally in the coming months. In an interview with crypto influencer Scott Melker, Scaramucci stated that it wouldn’t be surprising for BTC to surge to $170,000 after its upcoming halving in April.
Scaramucci referred to historical data that shows BTC tends to reach a peak four times higher than its halving price. He explained that if Bitcoin is valued at $35,000 during the halving, a conservative estimate, it could reach $200,000 in 18 months. If the price is at $50,000 or $60,000 during the halving, the potential prices could be even higher.
Long-term, Scaramucci predicts that Bitcoin’s price could hover around half a million dollars. He believes that Bitcoin has the potential to reach half the market capitalization of gold, which would make it worth around $7 or $8 trillion.
Bitcoin’s Current Price
As of now, Bitcoin is valued at $42,478.
Hot Take: Anthony Scaramucci’s Bullish Prediction for Bitcoin
In a recent interview, hedge fund veteran Anthony Scaramucci shared his optimistic outlook for Bitcoin’s future. He predicts that after the upcoming halving event in April, BTC could soar to $170,000. Drawing on historical data and cycles, Scaramucci argues that a fourfold increase from the halving price is not uncommon for Bitcoin. In addition to this short-term rally potential, he also envisions a long-term target of half a million dollars for Bitcoin’s price. With its store-of-value properties and potential market capitalization comparable to gold, Scaramucci encourages investors to consider Bitcoin as an essential asset.
