Video game studio Bazooka Tango to launch limited playtest of NFT card-based strategy game Shardbound
Video game studio Bazooka Tango has announced that it will launch a 10-day playtest of its upcoming NFT card-based strategy game Shardbound. The playtest, called “Ascent to the Shards,” will be available to 2,000 players on a first-come, first-served basis. Signups for the playtest will take place on the Shardbound website.
Bazooka Tango co-founder Bo Daly expressed excitement about sharing the next major step in the development process, which includes new gameplay content, an updated game UI, and testing card progression. Shardbound is being built on Immutable zkEVM, an Ethereum scaling network that recently launched in early access for select developers.
Bazooka Tango is collaborating with Immutable Games to develop Shardbound, which was originally released as a traditional PC game in 2017. Last year, the decision was made to overhaul and expand the game with blockchain elements.
