Square Enix Begins NFT Auction for Symbiogenesis Game
Square Enix, the Japanese gaming giant, has started the character non-fungible token (NFT) auction for its upcoming game Symbiogenesis. The game is set to launch on December 21, as indicated on the official website. Players who hold the NFT Characters will receive an additional 400EXP in their Daily Reward upon logging into the game. Square Enix advises players to have their MetaMask wallet and Discord account ready before starting the game.
Auction Details and Phases
The auction for the NFTs will be conducted in three phases. The first phase began on November 27 and will end on November 28. Phase 2 is scheduled for November 30 until December 1, and the third phase will take place on December 2. Each phase has a different purpose, known as Stakeholder Mint, Priority Mint, and AL Mint respectively. Square Enix will release a total of 500 NFTs for Chapter 1 of the game.
Additional Perks and Rules
Participants in the auction have a chance to win additional perks. However, only those who were selected for the Allow List during the Allow List Entry Campaign are eligible to bid. Bidders who are outbid in Phases 1 and 2 can bid on a different character if they fall below second place. Participants in Phase 2 can bid on more than one character in Phase 3. Bidding starts at 0 ETH, with increments of 0.01 ETH and incurs gas fees.
Claiming NFT Characters and Rewards
Winners of the auction must claim their NFT Characters by December 6, with gas fees being their responsibility. Players who hold onto their NFT Characters and log into the game with the same wallet by December 28 will receive an additional 5 Replica Issue Points on December 29.
