Shiba Inu Team Introduces Shib Name Service (SNS) Update
The Shiba Inu team has recently shared an update on their Shib Name Service (SNS) initiative. Lucie, the marketing lead and team member of Shiba Inu, posted about the update on X (formerly Twitter). The announcement was accompanied by D3 Global’s announcement regarding the fresh update.
Shiba Inu has partnered with D3 Global to establish a decentralized internet top-level domain (TLD) called “.shib.” This partnership aims to secure the TLD name for Shiba Inu users. Owners of Shiba Inus can register for early access and reserve their own .shib names, which can be resolved through worldwide domain name systems (DNS).
To gain early access to the update, Shiba Inu holders need to pre-register on the D3 platform. You must enter your email address and click “Save Your Spot” on the website. A link will be sent to your email for verification and login, which expires after 30 minutes.
Once logged in, you can search for available .shib names and select “Remind me when Early Access begins” if your desired name is available.
Lead Marketer Teases Upcoming Offerings for Shib
The lead marketer of Shiba Inu, Lucie, has revealed some upcoming updates for SHIB in 2024. She shared this information on X. Play-to-Earn (P2E) games, Shibahub, and Sheboshis are among the offerings that Shibizens can look forward to in 2024. The team is also working on establishing the Shib Metaverse.
