XRP to Integrate with Flare Networks
Flare Networks, despite its close ties to Ripple Labs Inc., has not yet supported the XRP token on its platform. However, this is set to change as Flare Network’s CEO, Hugo Philion, announced that XRP will be integrated through the FXRP asset. The integration will be facilitated by LayerCake, a decentralized asset that will enable XRP integration with other protocols beyond Flare Network.
Benefits for Developers
As an Oracle network competing with Chainlink and The Graph, Flare Network values developer support. With the LayerCake protocol, DApp developers can innovate with endless possibilities. By providing a platform for creating applications with interoperable features, they can have a greater impact over time.
The Evolution of XRP Ecosystem
The XRP ecosystem has been undergoing significant changes recently. The emergence of the Xahau Sidechain and the launch of the Layer-2 scaling solution Evernode on the XRP Ledger demonstrate this pivot towards innovation and improvement.
Flare Networks’ Response
Flare Networks developers are creating an open system that enables compatibility with the XRPL Flare. This allows high-quality decentralized data from XRPL Flare to be utilized by DApps built using smart contract development environments.
XRP and FLR Integration
Flare Network’s native token FLR was airdropped to XRP holders, further strengthening the relationship between the two assets. The XRP community eagerly anticipates deeper integration between XRP and FLR to drive further innovations in both ecosystems.
