Anoma Foundation Launches Community Builders Program for Namada
The Anoma Foundation, a charitable organization focused on blockchain technology, has announced the launch of the Community Builders Program for Namada, a multichain privacy protocol. The program aims to accelerate the adoption of enhanced privacy features in public blockchain systems.
Namada utilizes zero-knowledge encryption across various blockchains to provide independent anonymity regardless of the underlying assets. The program brings together a network of individuals and groups to build a gateway that connects the public and private digital realms.
An Incentive for Contributors
The Anoma Foundation plans to incentivize and reward participants in the Community Builders Program by granting 10,000,000 NAM tokens exclusively to selected contributors. This initiative aims to encourage and acknowledge their efforts in advancing digital privacy.
The allocation of NAM tokens will be encoded into the genesis block of the Namada blockchain after the Retroactive Public Goods Funding (RPGF) Round concludes. From November 20 to 26, the Namada community will vote on individuals deserving recognition and compensation for their contributions during the project’s early stages as part of the Community Builder RPGF Round.
Funding Privacy-Enhancing Activities
Namada supports privacy-enhancing activities through various funding channels. Public Goods Funding (PGF) enables governance-elected stewards to back public goods across multiple domains, including Shielded Set Rewards—a form of Continuous Public Goods Funding (CPGF).
To participate in the Community Builders Program, individuals are encouraged to follow Namada on Twitter, join the Namada Discord Server, and submit the Community Builder Form.
