Circle Launches New Products for Web2 Developers
Circle has introduced two new products, Circle Gas Station and Circle Smart Contract Platform, that make it easier for web2 developers to create and deploy decentralized applications (dapps). These products provide developers with access to USDC balances and transactions on various blockchain networks, including Ethereum, Solana, Algorand, and Stellar.
With the Circle Smart Contract Platform, developers can write and deploy contracts using familiar programming languages like JavaScript, Python, or Ruby. These smart contracts will be powered by Chainlink, a trusted decentralized oracle network that offers secure data feeds to smart contracts.
Circle aims to simplify the complexities of blockchain technology by addressing issues such as scalability, security, gas fees, and coding languages. The products also enable developers to integrate identity and compliance solutions into their dapps through partnerships with companies like Civic, Onfido, and Elliptic.
Expected Launch in Early 2024
The final versions of Circle Gas Station and Circle Smart Contract Platform are set to launch in early 2024. Developers are encouraged to sign up for early access and updates on Circle’s website.
