As June comes to a close, The Walking Dead: Empires is buzzing with monthly events and leaderboard challenges. Gala News reports that the Survivor’s Trial event is still ongoing, pushing players to strategize and thrive amidst the competition.
Experience Glenn’s Empire
Exciting news for players as The Walking Dead: Empires introduces Hero Cards in limited-time sales, starting with the legendary character Glenn from AMC’s The Walking Dead. With his versatility, resourcefulness, and compassion, Glenn adds a new dynamic to the game. By acquiring the Glenn Hero Card, players can step into Glenn’s shoes, defend their base, and progress towards a brighter future.
Sale Information
The sale of Glenn Hero Cards kicked off on Friday, June 28th, at 8 am PT and will continue until stocks last or until the card is replaced with new releases. Currently, players can purchase Common and Ancient versions of Glenn:
- Common: $4.99 Each | 2000 Supply
- Ancient: $249.99 Each | 20 Supply
These cards are immediately playable in-game upon purchase on GalaChain.
Weekly Challenges
With the launch of the Public Development Build, players have been shaping their own narratives in The Walking Dead universe. Starting this June, weekly events will test players’ skills and dominance over the wasteland. The top 200 players on the leaderboard after each event will receive valuable in-game rewards.
June Event Lineup
Four weekly events are scheduled for June:
- Week 1: Deadland Scavenge: Collect rare resources to claim the top spot.
- Week 2: Build the Future: Create resources to climb the leaderboard.
- Week 3: Survivor’s Trial: Earn the most XP and enhance your character’s abilities.
- Week 4: Walker Wipeout: Eliminate as many walkers as possible for supremacy.
The first event began on Monday, June 3rd, at 5 pm PT, with subsequent events starting each Monday at 5 pm PT.
