SOL Experiences Blockchain Outage, Block Progression Halted
SOL has confirmed an outage on its blockchain, causing block progression to halt. According to Solana, engineers are currently investigating the outage on mainnet-beta, but the cause is still unknown.
This latest outage is the first since February 2023, according to Solana’s status page. Although still in beta, Solana has experienced a series of outages in 2022 due to node issues and even went offline for almost 18 hours in September 2021.
