The First Artwork and NFTs on the Moon: Jeff Koons Makes History

Partnering with 4Space, a female-owned space company, each component of “Moon Phases” is named after individuals who have made significant contributions to human history. These names will be displayed in front of the sculptures to honor their achievements and inspire future generations.
An Out Of This World Art Piece
Koons’ NFTs for “Moon Phases” will be released through Pace Gallery’s virtual art platform, Pace Verso. This allows art enthusiasts, space lovers, and NFT collectors to own a piece of history. The remaining sculptures on Earth will feature precious stones indicating the landing site on the Moon. The location will become a Lunar Heritage Site where the related Moon sculptures will be permanently installed.
