Starbucks Korea Reveals New NFT Project
Starbucks Korea has announced its first NFT project called ‘STARBUCKS STAR★LIGHT.’ The company is encouraging customers to use personal cups by offering limited edition NFTs as rewards. Starting January 16, Starbucks will gift NFTs to Rewards customers who order beverages using their personal cups. Customers can earn Eco Stamps with each purchase, with three stamps being the maximum per day. There are three tiers of collectible NFTs based on the number of Eco Stamps collected. The NFTs are designed in collaboration with ‘Print Bakery’ and feature the works of artist DADAZ and local artists.
The Nyan Heroes Coming to Epic Games Store
Nyan Heroes, a PC battle royale shooter game, will be released on the Epic Games Store. The game allows players to use NFTs as an ownership layer for certain digital assets earned or bought in the game. It will eventually have a marketplace for users to trade in-game items with each other. The game uses the Solana blockchain and supports collection via the Phantom Wallet. The official release date is yet to be announced.
