Trio Accused of Illegally Taking Control of Remilia Corporation’s Revenues
Remilia Corporation, a digital art and non-fungible token (NFT) business, has filed a lawsuit against three individuals for allegedly illegally taking control of the company’s revenues. According to the lawsuit filed with the U.S. District Court of Nevada, John Duff, Henry Smith, and Maxwell Roux are accused of taking $1 million that belongs to Remilia.
No Equity Shares and Poor Performance
Remilia and its founder Krishna Okhandiar deny that Duff, Smith, and Roux had requested equity shares during contract negotiations. Instead, the company claims that they were assigned managerial roles but failed to perform adequately. As a result, they were demoted.
The Conspiracy Unraveled
Okhandiar, known as Charlotte Fang on X (formerly Twitter), explained how the trio attempted to seize control of Remilia’s social media accounts and demanded a portion of the company’s treasury and NFT reserves. However, their plan was foiled due to “serious miscalculations.” Okhandiar assured users that their assets remain secure but advised against using the compromised social media accounts.
Lawsuit Seeks Favorable Judgment
The lawsuit, filed on September 11, seeks favorable judgment on 11 charges against Duff, Smith, and Roux. Remilia and Okhandiar are determined to recover the lost funds and have temporarily paused Bonkler’s daily mint.
