Legacy is now available for PC and Mac on the Gala Games platform, offering you the opportunity to showcase your strategic skills and compete against others for in-game prizes, bragging rights, and potentially Gala Games’ GALA token. Developed by 22cans, Legacy puts you in charge of a growing company, where you design products, manage production, and build an entire town to support your economy.
Competitive Events and Rewards
Hourly competitive events are at the core of the game, including design and sales competitions. In design competitions, you compete to create the most creative products, while sales competitions challenge you to sell the greatest quantity or highest value of products within a time limit. Winners receive Legacy Tickets that can be converted into GALA tokens once a day.
Accessing competitions requires Gems, the game’s in-game currency. You can mine Gems using a Gem Mine rewarded through initial gameplay or purchase them using GALA tokens.
Keys, Land, Deeds and Guilds
While Legacy is free to play, all players use keys held by Deed owners. When you start the game, you choose a key linked to a Deed owner’s Guild. A portion of any tickets you earn goes to the Deed owner. Deed owners receive a number of Keys based on their Deed’s rarity, with rare Deeds also receiving a Legacy Ticket multiplier that can increase the haul by up to three times. Deeds are unique digital property that can be bridged to Ethereum and sold on secondary markets.
The Future of Legacy
A future update will allow Deeds to be leveled up permanently with updates remaining with the minted item. The update will also add Buildings to the game offering buffs such as worker efficiency boosts and accelerated research. Some Buildings will be digital property minted on GalaChain while others will only be available in-game.
