Japanese automaker Honda has joined the crypto revolution by accepting digital assets as payment options for its products. Notably, Honda now supports Ripple’s XRP and the popular meme coin Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Honda Motor Co., based in Tokyo, has partnered with blockchain payment system FCF Pay to allow customers to lease or buy Honda products using cryptocurrencies instead of traditional fiat currencies. The accepted assets include Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), XRP, SHIB, Binance Coin (BNB), Polkadot (DOT), and more. Additionally, Honda is also accepting exotic meme coins like Pepe Coin, Floki Inu, Bone ShibaSwap, Doge Killer, and others.

FCF Pay recently partnered with Texas-based energy company Chariot Energy to allow customers to pay their solar panel bills in SHIB. HSBC, a major British bank, also announced that eligible clients can settle their mortgage bills and loans using various cryptocurrencies, including XRP and SHIB.
