Following his removal from A.I. firm OpenAI, Microsoft has appointed Sam Altman as the head of an “advanced A.I. research team.” This move comes as CEO Satya Nadella announced the latest information through a tweet, stating that Altman would be joining the in-house team alongside OpenAI co- founder Greg Brockman and other “colleagues.” Altman responded to the notice with a tweet, indicating that the mission will continue, to which Nadella expressed his excitement over Altman joining the team.
