Tezos recently implemented its 14th upgrade, called Nairobi, which brought platform enhancements and the launch of the Tezos Ecosystem DAO. The upgrade aimed to improve the user experience by enhancing transaction throughput and reducing fees. The blockchain now also supports Smart Rollup functions and has improved its terminology for better communication. Additionally, the Tezos Ecosystem DAO allows community members to submit funding requests for Tezos-related initiatives, with transparency and accountability being prioritized. Despite these improvements, the price of XTZ, the native currency of the Tezos network, has remained under pressure and has yet to reverse losses from June 2023. The overall cryptocurrency market is showing signs of improvement, but XTZ remains bearish and has not reached previous highs.
