A Trio of Blockchain Games to be Deployed on Immutable zkEVM Network
Immutable announced on Thursday that three upcoming blockchain games—GensoKishi Online, Cursed Stone, and Sailwars—will be deployed on the Immutable zkEVM network. The Immutable zkEVM is a gaming-centric Ethereum scaling network built using Polygon’s zkEVM technology and is fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine. This allows games and other apps to handle larger volumes of transactions with lower costs compared to Ethereum’s mainnet.
GensoKishi Online: A Metaverse-Native Reincarnation
GensoKishi Online, developed by Metap, is described as a “metaverse-native reincarnation” of the popular game Elemental Knights Online. It was originally planned to launch on the Polygon sidechain network but will now be deployed on the Immutable zkEVM network. Recently, GensoKishi Online held a collaborative event with Symbiogenesis, a Polygon-based game from Square Enix, where users participated in a scavenger hunt on Discord to earn free NFTs.
Cursed Stone: A 3D Open-World MMORPG
Cursed Stone is a 3D open-world massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that allows players to own and trade dynamic NFT assets. Each NFT in Cursed Stone is unique due to an innovative role system implemented by Immutable.
Sailwars: A Web3 Game Inspired by Naval Skirmishes and Fantasy Epics
Sailwars is a Web3 game inspired by naval skirmishes and fantasy epics such as “The Lord of the Rings” and “A Song of Ice and Fire.” Players can convert their in-game items into NFTs and trade them on the open market. They can also earn tokens for playing across multiple game modes.

“It’s inspiring to see more studios embracing Immutable to really level up their game,” said Andrew Sorokovsky, VP of Global Business Development at Immutable. Other games being built on the Immutable zkEVM network include Shardbound, MetalCore, and Space Nation, a sci-fi game backed by film director Roland Emmerich. Immutable launched the zkEVM testnet in August and plans for a full mainnet rollout in the future.
