Nifty Bank Index Closes on a Negative Note
The Nifty Bank index ended the day down by 0.18 per cent at 43658.65, while the benchmark NSE Nifty50 index closed up by 36.8 points at 19443.5 and the BSE Sensex stood up by 33.21 points at 64975.61. Out of the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 finished in the green, with the remaining 17 closing in the red.
