As a longtime fan of the popular dungeon crawler game, Dav was drawn to Nifty Island’s continuous creation possibilities. The open beta of Nifty Island was launched recently, featuring a play-to-airdrop campaign to attract players.
Dav stated that his recreation of Diablo III on Nifty Island is an homage to his all-time favorite game and a nostalgic experience for many others. Inspired by fellow creators who designed maps based on games like Halo and Call of Duty, Dav decided to embark on this project.

He emphasized that he did not use any 3D assets from Blizzard without permission, but rather drew inspiration from Diablo’s lore and themes.
