Nifty Pharma Index Closes Negative, Top Gainers and Losers
The Nifty Pharma index closed on a negative note, with several stocks experiencing gains and losses. Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Alkem Laboratories, Granules India, Natco Pharma, and Laurus Labs were the top gainers of the day. On the other hand, Gland Pharma, Ipca Laboratories, Cipla, Lupin, and Biocon finished as the top losers. The Nifty Pharma index closed down at 16169.55.
The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended on a positive note, while the BSE Sensex also saw gains. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 ended in the green while 20 closed in the red.

Additionally, several stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs including Robust Hotels, BCL Industries, Rashtriya Chemicals, Madras Fert, and Veranda Learning Sol. On the other hand, Embassy Office, Flair Writing Indust, Raj Rayon, SEL Manufact, and Winsome Yarns hit their fresh 52-week lows.
